If you're having problems with your iPod you can reset it without connecting pc or any software.There are three ways to reset your ipod.

follow these steps to reset it.

✪ Hold the hold button at the top of ipod until appears to slide to power off screen

✪ Now slide your finger power the ipod

✪ Next Press hold switch untill ipod turns back on and apple logo appears on the screen

✪ Now press Menu button and hold button at the same until the ipod restart

✪ Next step if your ipod boot go to Settings → General → Reset Now you can see few options to select . Press Reset all setting of them
